Can you gain weight with Polycyctic Kidney Disease?

I’ve tried to find out if you gain weight having PKD but I haven’t found a direct answer. I’ve gained about 35 pounds in the past 7 months and I don’t think my diet has changed in a year. Is it PKD or is it something else? (I know its not my thyroid-had it checked already)
