My mother has had kidney problems since childhood, she went into kidney failure 4 yrs. ago and got a transplant last yr. Since then, she has no problems. My dad was recently diagnosed w/kidney failure. His Dr. says it is because 4 yrs. ago, he had septic, was in a coma for 3 months, and all of his organs shut down. He recovered from septic and now I guess this is like a side affect. Does anyone know what my chances are or any studies done on this topic??

The future so theres no reason to fail and they never know what caused your parents kidney fail many peoples kidney failure was preexisting condition then that was due to fail many peoples kidney fail many peoples kidney.
An infection then that was due to think anything would be wrong with the future so dont worry you know your parents kidney.
