Wondering if any who has been overseas for military reasons suffer from Chronic Kidney Disease?

He spent 20 yrs in the military. He served several tours in Iraq and has been all over the world. He was recently diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. He thinks it is related to something he may have been in contact with overseas. We were wondering if anyone knows of a situation like this.
